As we celebrate the last day of Spring 2016, we have finally arrived at the third and final installation of the Spring Menu edition of our seasonal monthly pop-up dinner, The Comfort Room. After this month’s pop-up, we will be taking summer hiatus from our regular monthly pop-up schedule to concentrate on the growth and expansion of Hood Famous Bakeshop, working on special events and new menu items, and some traveling. To capture the spirit of the seasonal change from Spring to Summer, we’ve added some new menu items: Inihaw na Talaba (Grilled Oysters), Tofu Poke Skewers, and Sizzling Sinigang. Also, our dessert offering features the debut of a new item from Hood Famous Bakeshop: Chocolate Haupia Cheesecake, which will join the lineup of current cheesecake flavors.

The Comfort Room is a monthly pop-up dinner hosted at Kraken Congee. Dinner format is first-come, first-served seating with walk-up ordering -- no reservations and no entry payment required. All-ages, family-friendly w/ bar seating and alcoholic drinks available for patrons 21+. Take out orders also welcome.
